My home, the Eiskarhütte, is a
perfect meeting point at the Reiteralm. Here at 1700m the sun is shining powerful even when daytime gets shorter. This makes it one of the most popular places to be in the sport resort of Schladming.

Here, on 1700m, I learned skiing when I was 3 years old. At the age of 6, I used to ski down to the valley every day to go to school. Remembering these times, I am the more happy about the fact that the ski area of Reitalm has become an appreciated training location of the ÖSV team (Austrian Ski Federation) and the world stars of ski.
